The Teacher Challenge - Teachers demonstrate their teaching skills and compete for cash prizes. The competition encourages collegiality among teachers and opportunities to share quality educational materials. 2008 Applications now accepted.

Amazing Animals Field Trip - View everything from an alligator to flying squirrels in beautiful naturalistic environments. Dozens of live animals are on display. Exhibit arrives in Rockville Center Summer of 2008.

Field Trips - Over a dozen field trips are available to choose from, including topics such as paleontology, entomology, decomposers, junior naturalists, math in the natural world, food-webs and more. 

Teacher Professional Development - CSTL supports professional development for schools as either an in-service or continuing education credit.

Science Research Programming - CSTL can help Initiate or improve a science research program in any educational setting. Services include training and guidance to teachers and science mentor placement.  

Graduate Degrees with Curtin University- In collaboration with Curtin Universities Science and Mathematics Education Center (SMEC) students can study in the classroom and by distance learning. The center offers M.S., Ed.D, and Ph.D degree programs.

Curriculum Development - Assistance for schools in the development of inquiry-based, hands-on experiences for grades K-12.

Outreach Programming - have CSTL develop a workshop or program that meets your learning objectives. We come to your school to deliver hands-on and inquiry based lessons.
